Absolute Control is the 7th Book in the controller series.

Timeline wise, it follows on from Book 6 in the series, although this is the second book dedicated to Hudson and Anna.

In this book, we will see the introduction of a male Omega. We met Eli right at the start of

Book 2, as he was the Omega who healed Anna after the Uncorrupted attack.

It's always a delicate task adding a new character to an existing relationship. Most books with a menage aspect are clear right from the start, and the reader knows what they are getting. In this case, I'm adding a new character to an established relationship. I was very conscious of giving him a story of his own and making sure his inclusion was believable and done with sensitivity to the existing couple.

Did I get it right? I'll let you decided :)

I've really enjoyed writing Eli and getting to know him. I'm hoping Hudson and Anna fans will come to love him as much as I do!

When will it be released?

Sometimes when I get into self-editing, I find myself going over and over the work until I'm happy. That didn't happen this time, which I'm hoping means the story is in pretty good shape, and I can release it soon.

It will be going out to Beta readers imminently. As soon as I get feedback, I'll work out a release date.

I've started on a surprise...

I know I have other stuff to get on with, but sometimes an idea calls to me. I don't think it will be more than a short novella (yes, I know I've said that before). I wrote the scene for this a little while ago, but the title came to me a few days ago, and I'm feeling inspired.

Inspired writing is usually good writing, so I'm going to just run with it.

This is again in the Controller universe, and centers around a muted Omega being allocated to an Alpha...

Completing the Deviant Trilogy was much harder than I expected. It's a lot of threads to hold onto across three books, and that's without considering the wider story in which all five books interlink.

When I finished Deviant Betrayal, I promised myself that I would write a short, simple novella for Lucian and his Pet, aka Ruthless Control. I'm 3/4 of the way into the draft, and it's wrapping up to be a full novel!

For the record, Lucian is a bad, bad man...

As always happens in these books, we will get a peek at our old characters, and more insights into those we have yet to fully meet. I already know I want to tackle Abby and the two Deltas, Jordan and Kade, next. But a few other interesting characters have also arrived that I am itching to explore.

I'm aiming to have Ruthless Control out before the end of the year.

I have also been working on several other novels, including a dystopian, a rom-com, and a lighter Sci-Fi romance that is heavy on the action!

Looking forward to sharing with you as they develop.

If you have enjoyed my books, and want to see what I'm up to on a daily basis. I have a private reader group on Facebook where you can also join me!

This Sunday closes a very crazy week. There have been some high notes! I published the fourth book in The Controllers series, 'Deviant Evolution'. If you have been reading the rest of the series, I really think you're going to like this latest book. If you have already finished, I'd love to hear your feedback on Amazon and GoodReads. :) Other highs... my husband celebrated a major birthday milestone, so we've been away celebrating this weekend. I have a taste for different cocktails and tried a new one last night that blew my mind. I am a bit of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol though... much to my husband's delight!

On lower notes, I had some panics this last week. I was looking into my reading figures and thought maybe the keywords could be improved. Changing them suddenly saw a significant drop in my Kindle Unlimited page reads. Eeek. Now don't get me wrong, my page reads are not JK Rowling numbers, but it's all relative. Then I changed them back to a mix of some original keywords and some new ones, but also learned that Amazon picks up 'keywords' from your descriptions, so edited those. The result, page reads were up to a great numbers. Happy Liv!!

Bit I couldn't stop meddling, so I thought I would also look at the categories I had my books in. Note to any authors reading this. Tread carefully when changing categories. It appears that when you change categories, Amazon reset the statistics for the book. It makes sense when you think about it. But... the end result is a huge negative impact to my page reads. I'm hoping it turns around quickly and returns to normal, but it has been a hard lesson!

Finally, whilst Deviant Evolution has published this week, I'm pleased to announce that Deviant Betrayal is now available for pre-order and will release on 30 September. As you can see from the cover below, I'm trying a new design. Please let me know your thoughts on this too. I hope everyone likes it.
